Produced in DO Rías Baixas by Forjas del Salnés, Goliardo Espadeiro is a varietal Spanish red wine belonging to the Tintos de Mar collection.
Made solely from Espadeiro, a high-quality variety indigenous to Galicia and Portugal, the grapes are sourced from vines 45 to 180 (!) years old, grown in sandy, granite and cobblestone soils.
Hand-harvested and meticulously selected, the grapes were fully destemmed before being fermented in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation was carried out in French oak barrels, where Goliardo Espadeiro 2019 was then aged for 12 months.
Finally, this red wine from Rías Baixas was aged for some months in the bottle before hitting the market.
This is a hard-to-find, rather unique Crianza red wine.

| Palate | This wine from bodega Forjas del Salnés is linear, crisp and focused. It has an impressive acidity and a great freshness, all of which, together with a saline and mineral core, results in a markedly Atlantic character. Long finish, with vegetal remembrance and a smokey and balsamic aftertaste. |
