The single malt non-peated whisky Glengoyne 12 Single Malt is produced by the Glengoyne distillery from kiln dried malts. After that, it was aged in 60% oak barrels, 20% first fill Sherry casks and 20% Bourbon barrels.
Quite complex, the nose of this Single Malt Scotch Whisky carries aromas of lemon peel, spices, ginger and syrupy apples, with a spark of vanilla and a Sherry remembrance. The palate is round, subtle and characterful.
Versatile and inviting, the whisky Glengoyne 12 Single Malt can be drink neat or on the rocks. Foodwise, it will pair excellently with wild salmon and blue cheese.
