The Maria Casanovas winery has surprised us with this new Cava, Glaç Rosat Brut Nature.
Like its brother Glaç Brut Nature, it is crafted from Pinot Noir (60%) combined with the traditional Cava blend: Xarel·lo, Macabeo, Parellada. Besides the percentage of Pinot Noir in the blend, the difference between these cavas is that the base wine was macerated with the skins of the Pinot Noir grapes for two hours.
Then, this organic rosé Cava aged for a minimum of 18 months in its bottle.
This rosé Cava from Penedès also comes in an original, transparent bottle.
Great as an aperitif, Glaç Rosat Brut Nature can also be enjoyed with rice, pasta or desserts.
