A varietal Albariño from DO Rías Baixas, Fillaboa Selección Monte Alto is produced from grapes coming from a 6-hectare vineyard located near the mouth of the Miño river.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were destemmed and gently crushed. Only the free-run must of this Spanish white wine was subsequently fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then this white wine from Rías Baixas was aged on its lees for 24 months with periodic stirrings.
After that, Fillaboa Selección Monte Alto 2019 was fined and stabilized before bottling.
10,000 bottles were produced of this white wine aged on lees.
