Produced by Masia Can Mayol, the new vintage of Elisenda Loxarel Brut Nature Reserva, previously known as Loxarel Gran Elisenda Brut Nature, comes with a new composition.
As required by the Clàssic Penedès association of producers, this Spanish rosé sparkling wine is produced from certified organic vineyards. Besides, the winery follows the guidelines of biodynamic farming.
A blend of Xarel·lo Vermell (or Red Xarel·lo, a pink-skinned mutation of the well-known Xarel·lo) and Parellada, it is made from vines located in Massís d’Ordal, in the Garraf Natural Park, at a distance of 14 km from the Mediterranean Sea. This fact imparts a saline and mineral quality to this Clàssic Penedès sparkling wine.
Traditionally vinified, alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks. After that, the rosé sparkler Elisenda Loxarel Brut Nature Reserva 2017 was aged for a minimum of 28 months. It is disgorged on demand.
This is a vibrant Clàssic Penedès Brut Nature Reserva. Excellent with sushi, Thai and Indian recipes.
