The best-known Spanish red wine of bodega Dehesa de los Canónigos, Dehesa de los Canónigos 15 meses is a prime example of the traditional Ribera del Duero style.
The main variety is Tempranillo, complemented with some Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from 4 different vineyards located in Pedrosa de Duero and farmed following the guidelines of organic agriculture.
The grapes were hand-picked and then each variety was separately fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, this Crianza red wine was transferred into 1st and 2nd year American oak barrels, where it was aged for 15 months.
Once bottled, Dehesa de los Canónigos 15 meses 2020 was aged for a further months before being released onto the market.
