The remarkable Davila L-100 showcases the impressive richness of Galicia’s wine heritage.
Produced by the Adegas Valmiñor winery, this varietal Spanish white wine is made solely from Loureiro, a Galician native variety sourced from centenary vineyards located in O’Rosal, a subzone of DO Rías Baixas.
The late-harvested grapes were brought to the cellar in little boxes, meticulously selected and cold-soaked for several hours. Then they were pressed with a pneumatic press, drawn off and fermented at a controlled temperature.
After that, this white wine from Rías Baixas was aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks for over a period of 6 months.
Then the white wine Davila L-100 2015 was stabilized, filtered and bottled.
Pair with white meat recipes and creamy and medium-aged cheese.
