We are happy to bring you the new vintage of Corimbo I from Bodegas La Horra, the project of the Rioja-based Bodegas Roda in Ribera del Duero.
Made from Tinta del País (Tempranillo), this varietal Spanish red wine is sourced from over 40-year-old vines grown at an altitude over 800 metres above sea level, in the villages of Roa and La Horra, Burgos.
The meticulous harvest was followed by a pre-fermentation maceration. The following alcoholic fermentation took place in wooden vats. Later, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was transferred into wooden barrels to complete malolactic fermentation.
After that, Corimbo I 2015 was aged for 14 months in 80% French and 20% American oak barrels. It was stabilized and clarified with egg whites before being bottled.
Finally, this Crianza red wine was aged for some years in the bottle before its release.
Decant 1 hour before drinking.
117,250 bottles produced.
