This is the new vintage of Chivite Colección 125 Reserva, a distinguished Spanish red wine from Navarra crafted exclusively from the best Tempranillo grapes coming from Finca Legardeta, a very special vineyard with a very particular kind of soil.

The grapes were meticulously harvested at dusk in order to avoid prefermentation, and selected both at the vineyard and in the cellar.

After that, they were gently crushed and premacerated for 12 hours in stainless steel tanks with periodic pump-overs. After the completion of alcoholic fermentation, Chivite Colección 125 Reserva 2017 of Bodegas Julián Chivite was aged for 17 months in French oak barrels from Allier.

Limited production. All bottles are numbered.

Decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking. Pair with substantial meat dishes.

Our personal opinion	Despite not being made from French varieties, the elegance of Chivite Colección 125 Reserva 2017 makes it the most Bordeaux-esque of all Chivite red wines.
Palate	Powerful, poised and focused, this wine from Bodegas Julián Chivite has a first-class acidity and a smooth passage. Effortless concentration, leading to a very long finish with some mineral, toasted and spicy remembrances. Really classy.
