The varietal Tempranillo Chafandín is a single vineyard wine made from 40-year-old grapevines located in Pesquera del Duero, in the heart of Ribera del Duero.
After a meticulous harvest, the grapes were gently crushed and the wine must was fermented for 12 days in stainless steel tanks.
Then this red wine from Ribera del Duero was macerated with the skins for over a period of 17 days. After that, this Spanish red wine completed malolactic fermentation in 300-litre French oak barrels.
Then Chafandín 2019, produced by Viñas del Jaro, was transferred into new oak barrels and aged for 21 months
Decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
