Made solely from Godello, Castro Candaz La Vertical is the result of a collaboration between world-class oenologist Raúl Pérez and his friend, the prestigious Galician winemaker Rodrigo Méndez.
Produced in DO Ribeira Sacra, this Spanish white wine comes from vines planted in steep clay-granite slopes.
Harvested by hand and selected on site, the grapes were fermented whole-bunch in oak barrels. After that, the white wine Castro Candaz La Vertical 2020 was aged for some months in the barrels before bottling
Excellenty without food, this white wine fermented in oak also pairs excellently with white meat recipes.
