A varietal Verdejo wine, Blanco Nieva Pie Franco Verdejo is produced from low-yielding, ungrafted vines 80 to 100 years old.
They are planted in extremely poor soils at an altitude of 850 metres above sea level, in the province of Segovia, DO Rueda, an area with a harsh Continental climate.
The grapes were harvested by hand and selected on site. Then this Spanish white wine of Bodegas Martúe was fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, Blanco Nieva Pie Franco Verdejo 2022 was aged for 3 months on its lees.
Pair this white wine from Rueda with Asian food, pizza or creamy cheeses.
Very limited production.
