This is the new vintage of Bertha S.XXI, produced in Penedès by Caves Bertha.
Besides Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada, the traditional Cava triad of varieties, this Spanish sparkling wine contains a 15% Chardonnay.
Each variety was separately vinified in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature. After completing alcoholic fermentation, the cava Bertha S.XXI 2009 was bottled and added selected yeasts. Once secondary fermentation was over, it was aged for 36 months minimum before its commercial release.
Complex and balanced, this cava brut nature gran reserva is excellent as an aperitif, without food or with desserts. Besides, it can perfectly match a multi course dinner.
