The 2017 vintage of the Cava Àtica Extra Brut Gran Reserva is made from a blend of 85% Xarel·lo and 15% Chardonnay.
The plants grow in clayey-limestone soils near the Mediterranean sea, at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level. The winery has completed its conversion to organic farming.
Produced following the traditional method, this Spanish sparkling wine of Parató Vinícola was first fermented for a period of 16 days at a controlled temperature.
After that, Àtica Extra Brut Gran Reserva 2017 completed secondary fermentation inside the bottle, and was aged for a minimum of 30 months on its lees.
This organic Cava Gran Reserva from Penedès is perfect to drink throughout a whole meal.
