Produced by Codorniu, Ars Collecta Grand Rosé is a rosé Spanish sparkling wine made from a highly interesting blend of grape varieties.
The main ingredient (85%) of this rosé reserva Cava is Pinot Noir, sourced from vineyards located in the Segrià area. The French red variety is complemented with Trepat, coming from Conca de Barberà, and Xarel·lo from Penedès.
Hand-harvested at dawn, the grapes were destemmed, macerated for some hours and separately fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, this Cava, one of the bottlings of the Ars Collecta collection, was blended and bottled. Subsequently, Ars Collecta Grand Rosé 2019 completed secondary fermentation and was aged for 18 months before hitting the market.
You can pair this brut reserva rosé cava with light dishes, fish and meat recipes and desserts. It is extremely versatile.
