Produced by Codorniu, Ars Collecta Blanc de Noirs is an original Spanish sparkling wine made from a uncommon blend of 85% Pinot Noir, sourced from vineyards located in Costers del Segre, Xarel·lo from Penedès, and Trepat, a red grape indigenous to the southern Catalan region of Conca de Barberà.
Hand-harvested at dawn at the beginning of August, the grapes were gently pressed and then each variety was separately fermented in stainless steel tanks.
After that, this Blanc de Noirs Cava, one of the bottlings of the Ars Collecta collection, completed secondary fermentation in the bottle. Finally, the Cava Ars Collecta Blanc de Noirs 2017 was aged for a minimum of 18 months before hitting the market.
This is a food-friendly Gran Reserva Cava. It will perfectly match a multi-course meal.
