The entry-level Spanish red wine of Ànima Negra Viticultors nicely showcases Mallorca’s rich heritage of indigenous varieties.
Made in the town of Felanitx and marketed under the designation Vino de la Tierra de Mallorca, ÀN/2 is a blend of 65% Callet, 20% Fogoneu and Manto Negro, and a 15% Syrah which adds an international touch.
The grapes were harvested by hand and brought to the cellar in 10-kilogram boxes.
Then this red wine from Mallorca went through alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and concrete vats.
Finally, ÀN/2 2021 was aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels.
We suggest that you decant this Crianza red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
