The Indian whisky Amrut Peated Indian Single Malt is made by the Amrut distillery using traditional Scottish methods.
Made from Scottish barley, the peated malt was distilled in the Amrut facilities in Bangalore (India) and then aged for 5 years in Bourbon casks. This Indian whisky was bottled at 46% ABV.
Complex and refined, this peated whisky carries aromas of toasted barley, salted butter, candied sugar, exotic spices and black pepper.
On the palate, this single malt whisky is round, phenolic and elegant, with notes of liquorice, smoke, citrus, charred wood and honey. Finish is long and complex,
