Coming from the northern Spanish region of Calatayud, Alto Las Pizarras is a varietal Grenache produced by Bodegas y Viñedos del Jalón.
Made from 60-year-old vineyards with slate soils located at altitudes between 700 and 1000 metres above sea level, this Spanish red wine was meticulously vinified.
Hand-harvested, the grapes were macerated and fermented for 20 days in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Alto Las Pizarras 2016 completed malolactic fermentation and was aged in new French oak barrels of different sizes for a period of 11 months.
Decant this Crianza red wine at least 30 minutes before drinking.
50,000 bottles produced.
