The elegant, high-end Cava Albert de Vilarnau Chardonnay Pinot Noir is produced by the Vilarnau winery. This Spanish sparkling wine is made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes coming from organically farmed vineyards planted in 1991.
Both were harvested in late August. The Pinot grapes were picked at dusk and, once in the cellar, they were crushed, after which the wine must was immediately separated from the skins in order not to get any colour.
Fermented in stainless steel tanks, Albert de Vilarnau Chardonnay Pinot Noir 2013 was then blended, bottled and completed secondary fermentation. After that, it was aged for a minimum of 48 months.
The packaging of this cava brut nature gran reserva was conceived by the prestigious fashion designer Antonio Miró.
