Produced in Conca de Barberà by bodega Abadia de Poblet, a brand of Grupo Codorníu, Abadía de Poblet Blanc is made solely from local varieties.
Ablend of Macabeo and Parellada, this Spanish white wine is sourced from old, low-yielding vineyards located at altitudes 550 to 700 metres above sea level.
The grapes were picked by hand in 16 kg boxes. Once in the cellar, they went through the sourcing table and then they were fermented in concrete tanks. After that, the wine was racked in order to remove the gross lees and leave the fine ones.
Finally, Abadía de Poblet Blanc 2019 was aged for some months in the tanks, with weekly stirrings during the first two months,
